Our philosophy

NUIR is a young, dynamic and service-centred law firm with helpful lawyers and an accommodating service style. We have broken away from the classic clichés; our offices do not have old-fashioned furniture and we do not keep our clients waiting for hours. A lawyer is a partner, an advisor, a service provider; they are outsiders yet like shadows of their clients as they move and act in concert with them. We believe that knowing our clients and their industry is vital: without this knowledge law is nothing but an abstract concept, a set of rules impossible for laymen to comprehend and interpret that hinder their day-to-day activities and restrict innovation.
We specialise in SMEs, undertaking only commercial and civil law cases; we do not accept any classic, criminal law or public administration-related instructions.

MAKISZ
As a member and secretary of the Association of Hungarian Debt Collection Companies and Business Information Providers (Magyar Követeléskezelők és Üzleti Információt Szolgáltatók Szövetsége or MAKISZ) we are responsible for the operation of a more transparent and efficient debt collection market and for the relationships of the Association with the authorities as well as for legislation, lobbying and communication.
MAKSZ
As the legal representative of the Association of Hungarian Communication Agencies (Magyarországi Kommunikációs Ügynökségek Szövetsége or MAKSZ) we strive to resolve any problems in the Hungarian advertising and media industry and we also provide advocacy services.
MRSZ
As a member of the legal chapter of the Hungarian Advertising Association (Magyar Reklámszövetség or MRSZ) we are responsible for the success of any and all of their training and education schemes, lectures and programmes related to advertising.
IAB
As the legal representative of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB Hungary) we are familiar with the specific requirements of the Hungarian online media sector and responsible for its operation.
DKT
As the representative of the Digital Audience Measurement Council (Digitális Közönségmérési Tanács or DKT 2013) we are responsible for collecting and evaluating Hungarian internet, video and mobile phone measurement information, and for achieving a better value-for-money ratio on online media advertising sales.
Audit
We also act as independent auditors and experts and in this capacity we prepare comprehensive sectoral analyses and assessments, verify and certify information provided by business and commercial partners and carry out data protection audits.
